The Slovenian Chamber of Tax Advisers (ZDSS) became an associated member of the European Tax Adviser Federation (ETAF) on 1 October 2026. ETAF members are pleased with this decision and look forward to working closely with ZDSS.
Established in 1993 as the professional association for Slovenian tax advisers, ZDSS became the Slovenian Chamber of Tax Advisers in 2008. The Chamber brings together professionals active in the field of tax advisory in Slovenia. Although the tax advisory profession in Slovenia is not yet subject to a binding professional regulatory framework, ZDSS actively promotes the further development and recognition of the profession.
On 29 September 2026, ETAF unanimously approved ZDSS’s application for associated membership during an Extraordinary General Assembly.
ETAF is pleased to welcome ZDSS as its first associated member. This milestone coincides with ETAF’s 10th anniversary in 2026 and the Federation welcoming its 10th member organisation. ZDSS’s accession reflects ETAF’s continued growth and commitment to promoting recognised, high-quality and regulated tax professions across Europe.
ETAF stands ready to support ZDSS in its efforts to further develop the tax advisory profession in Slovenia and to contribute to enhanced cooperation among tax professionals at the European level.
